BART and AC Transit form a crucial part of Oakland’s transportation ecosystem. Uber must make a conscious effort to work with and strengthen our mass transit and not undermine it. As a start, Uber should share with regional transit systems all data the company has collected that quantify the service’s impact on transit providers and their ridership patterns.
